Restoring the Old Paths
After a year of planning and preparation and a new Store Manager, SBC's newest project for health outreach is ready!
Mission work in East Africa can be challenging, yet the rewards are eternal..
We believe that the time has come for God's people to echo the cry of the prophet Zechariah: "Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; [so] the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field." That this promised "refreshing" from the presence of the Lord comes during the time when God's people are to have their sins "blotted out" (Acts 3:19), thus placing us in the time period when the investigative judgment has moved from the dead to the living.
We believe that it is vital for God's people to recognize and understand this aspect of present truth, and that once these testing truths are realized it must bring into one's experience the power of Christ's righteousness which is appropriated through faith. We believe also that this perfect righteousness will enable us to live a victorious life, thus allowing us to form characters without spot or blemish or any such thing.
We believe that the truth for our time encompasses the whole man, and it is our desire and duty, by the grace of God, to combine the various aspects of medical missionary work, true education, country living, family restoration, and gospel mission work, to the prophetic platform of preaching the everlasting gospel of the first, second, and third angels' message of Revelation chapter 14. We believe in upholding and contending for the foundations of our faith, thus fulfilling the prophet's words: "And [they that shall be] of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in." Isaiah 58:12.
We believe that heaven is our goal, and that by fulfilling this gospel commission we may help to hasten the coming of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
